Bloodborne Pathogen Exposure Control Plan for Health Care Facilities
Form
Instructions
Since many health care employees are at risk of exposure to bloodborne pathogens, the California Bloodborne Pathogen Standard (8 C.C.R. § 5193) requires health care facilities to create and regularly update a written Bloodborne Pathogen Exposure Control Plan.
All Exposure Control Plans must meet the requirements of the Bloodborne Pathogen Standard, and cover a variety of topics, such as exposure determinations, engineering and work practice controls, personal protective equipment, vaccination procedures, and exposure incident procedures.
The Aipura Model Exposure Control Plan for Health Care Facilities makes it easy for your facility to stay in compliance with the Bloodborne Pathogen Standard and minimize employees’ occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
